Friday, July 26th, at G1988 (West)
 7-10pm
So Gallery 1988 has finally sort of lost it with pop culture galleries copying their shtick, their promising pieces that can't be simply overlapped.
"... an amazing exercise in dealing with copycat competition where we believe we’re showing the first (or second) print of each subject. We worked hand in hand with artists to create prints based on movies & TV shows that would never, and have never, gotten the art tribute treatment. You’ll see some of your favorites for sure, but it will also be the first time you’ve seen most of them depicted to hang on your wall. And it’s so awesome. The work is so good and the artists have created some very passionate and inspired works. We’re just happy they don’t have to paint Tennebaums again."
