Castle Park Arcade and Miniature Golf and to lesser extent batting cages.

No your not is some pagan dream. The blood on your blade is probably real and you should turn yourself over the police, but before you do head to Castle Park. This castle contains a arcade of high stature with some new games to get you excited about leaving your house and leaving your Wii. Before you even start using the arcade why not try a game of mini-golf it's cheap, easy and fun. It's fun with a group of friends, but not sarcastic friends who always have negative comments maybe it's time you dumped them. The three different mini golf tracks will take some time and make u wanna play even more that when you started and passed through the arcade to get the mini-golf course.

They have batting cages there too...

On like Donkey Kong to the arcade of a king's sum of fun.

The arcade has two sections ticket giving machines in the back and real arcade machines in front. There also lies a small food court where many a nacho and soda may be purchased. The machines take coins so get ready to go to a change machine. The selection of the castle is quite nice with racing machine in both car and motorcycle type. They have a lot of beat-em ups and fighters.

Some ticket machines are crazy to interact with a look goofy.

They have a arcade Guitar Hero Machine with two controllers. It was quite funny to see a ten-year old play on his knees and his avatar the Angel of Death rock.

The of course have the old past time of air hockey. Plus some newer machine like the one below Juke Beat with strange new controls.

They had the one I wanted to play for so long.

Let's Go Jungle!

Let's Go Jungle! is a arcade shooter made by Sega that's, just too silly. A young couple decides to go on vacation in South America and is being rode around riding a tourist jeep. When suddenly giant tarantulas attack. The couple are handed AK's and that's when you take on their roles. Every round/level your score is display as a heart and fill up depending hoe well you did. It turns out that better you do the more compatible the couple is?

I love the terrible acting by the character and the boyfriend has the largest noise I've seen in a game in a long time.

Video below of my trek through the game.

Just some of the classic arcade machines they have so you know it's a great arcade.

They have me sold when they have Metal Slug and The Simpsons in the arcade.

I love the top of the arcade machine just look at the real world April O'Neil.

Guess where I went today!

Not for the reason you think. No, I went to the gift shop. Yes, the Los Angeles County Corner's Office does have a gift shop and it gets more horribly morbid as I go on. The Gift Shop is grimly titled

Skeletons in the Closet
1104 N. Mission Road Los Angeles, CA 90033(323) 343-0760

To start off parking is easy, but don't forget to get a visitor's pass at the lobby of the building below.

Skeleton's provides a body bag bloated with a corpse that's been rotting in a pool in morbid merchandise. The LA County logo dawns shirts, magnets, pens, baseball caps, shorts and what have you. What really stood out were the beach towels which had the outline from a crime scene on it. It comes in four colors and is the store bestseller. Next is the shirts which you'll also find below. The store isn't big, but is filled with great items. Sadly, the higher ups don't really want anything in the store to be to bloody or sick so don't except anything too horrible. I wish they had post cards. Wouldn't be perfect if they had, "Wish you were here, Los Angeles County Corner's Office. The staff who seems to be only one woman named Edna is helpful and nice and will answer your sick needs.

To bad Christmas just ended, but hey you might end up there next year.

HAHAHHAHAHAHa

Yes, they have a children's corner

2918 W Magnolia Blvd Burbank, CA 91505(818) 558-1080

Right down the road from Porto's is a cupcake heaven of delicious moistness. Anyway the cupcakes are good and innovative such as cupcake on a stick. The staff is helpful and polite so go ahead and ask them what they recommend. Prices vary but on average one cupcake will cost you $2.75. Nice selection of different It's a nice set up, well if you like pink.

Yes, they have cupcake in a jar and I want to try it!!!!!

8 Ball

A store like no other 8 Ball brings the crazy random stuff u need off the internet into a shop. 8 ball is a store filled with gag gifts from bacon flavored floss to monkey candles. The random stuff will draw u in and allow you to have some laughs. The store has some great random greeting cards for every occasion that'll make you say wtf. If you've seen it on the internet it possibly might be here. Right next Porto's (Brazialian sandwhiches) and Quizno's if your hungry.

Yes it's a alarm clock in a can.

Japan Bang

Now thta Christmas is dead and I have some free time I've hit a bust of Japanese culture. I was on Sawtelle the other day and got some free vidoe game magazine Hyper Game was giving out. I'll post a article about Hyper Game soon, but just to tell you it's a small little video game store that carries a lot of imports. Anyway the mag had some really cool pics of video game shirts that are totally unavalaible here in America, don't even bother looking on ebay.

Then I caught wind of Panda-Z which just amuses me as it rips off Mazinger Z the classic robot anime. Panda-Z charcters never talk and eventually in a episode a female robot seduces a male robot, you see them lighting cigarettes after a battle that was off camera. Here's a random episode below

New Years Day LA

Little Tokyo is having a fun little festival to try out on New Years Day. If it's anything like Nisei week I'm sure it'll be a fun day.
By the way Metro seems to be free both on christmas and New Years here in LA between 9am-2am, The iconic fire tower above actually has a termite problem. It might be torn down for a shiny new metal one. As long as it doesn't look as awful as the NOHO sign it should be fine.

Tricell Progenitor Virus Detection Kit

Here's a new series of the sites Video game press kits. I'm gonna try posting some here so that video game companies realize I play video games too and can review them on this site. Plus I love how cool some of them look. Now this kit was made by art collective i am 8-bit for Capcom. This is the fictional company in the Resident Evil 5 game Tricell. The dvds in the kit have a fake program pop up that "anazlizes your system for viruses". I love the detail.

LA Auto Show Concept Cars

The only car I liked is below. Other than that the only innovation Isaw was how cool seats will look in the future. I'll post more concept car pics later.

Saw the Volt. It's tiny, and you have no chance of buying one with it's extemely limited run. By the way the Conver J is below not the Volt. I wouldn't want to ruin your day by posting how crappy it is.

Car Hero

There was some sort of contest for future designs of cars at the LA auto show this year. Car Hero stuck out like a giant wii game. Car Hero is how people in the future would be trained in the art of driving. The poster just works so much , plus it looks like a open video game case from the back. Video games are everywhere jeez, just look below to see Rock Star show off their racing game Midnight Club Los Angeles. Rock Star was handing out t-shirts, stickers and very uninterested chicks handing them out. Give me booth babes, please.
