*Jeez, how many more versions and special nights are we gonna get? We just told you about the screening with live music!? If you've missed this movie so far, you've just not been trying to see it.

Director Bong Joon Ho shares a love of classic black-and-white films with his cameraman, Hong Kyungpyo. Having previously made a special black-and-white version of MOTHER (2009), he felt the urge again with PARASITE. "I'm sure everyone will have a different opinion about this version. Personally, I think all the characters look even more poignant, and that the distinctions between the three different spaces where the families live, with all the shades of grey, are even more tragic.”

Glitch Techs Feb 21

I guess Nickelodeon has given up making content for it's own channel? It's made by Nickelodeon, but it's on Netflix? Just like the Invader Zim movie. Wow, that channel has zero pride in itself.

CATS Rowdy Screenings

We all know CATS is a huge litter box mess, but here in LA we can celebrate that. Special sold-out screenings for CATS, known as Rowdy Screenings, have been taking place for a little while now. And more have been added to the calendar for the fun of acting...overacting as a feline.

Basically, you get a little bit drunk and really get into the show beyond a normal screening by "clap, purr, hiss, and hairball cough when the time feels right."

We're gonna add cat cosplay as a thing that probably happens too.

It's a truly strange phenomenon and probably the best way to see CATS to make fun of it.

Pure NPR Talk: Some Guy Didn't Like The Oy Posters For Curb Your Enthusiasm

Someone likes to argue and seems to forget that the people who do advertising for shows might not delve deep into the characters they're watching. We thought the poster is pretty iconic. And simply and good reminder the show is coming back.

Oy  — Why those ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ posters are pretty, pretty bad

We loved the breaking of the selfie stick and the pushing over the electric scooters here in LA. It all took place in the first episode of season 10.

These Two Video Game Movies Look Like Forgettable Fun

The little kid in us wants to see them for how dumb they look and for the surprising amount of actors we generally like as cameo characters. But for real, these are gonna be some forgettable video game films. We'll even give credit with the special effects in Free Guy looking top notch, but still. Great graphics don't make a great film.

*Side note
We wish studios allowed for original soundtracks, because we truly love Hardcore Henry, it just would have been at a whole other level if it didn't use old tracks like a TV commercial. These movies look like they're gonna use old tracks in the same way.

We're sure they'll be fun to watch for a weekend movie when you just want to chill at home, but there's not gonna be much substance over style. It's gun and explosions. If you just want to clear you mind for an hour or two you have these this year.

NBC Covers Those Valley Theme Song Videos For Some Reason

For some reason NBC covered the work of Dr Jedly, the guy who does those funny theme song videos for parts of the Valley and the outlands filled with crime and homelessness. It's funny in itself when NBC asks a random homeless man his thoughts on the videos, he doesn't like them.

...then you realize that...oh, yeah, that's how bad the Valley has been for a long time.

Eeesh.

The exhibition highlights the Hida region’s enduring craft connections to wood and the forest. The featured objects and processes engage the five senses and touch upon all aspects of contemporary lifestyle. From the raw materials of the forest, the origins of Hida’s craft traditions, to the furniture designs developed by Hida Sangyo in collaboration with some of the world’s top contemporary designers, such as Enzo Mari and Sori Yanagi, the exhibition spans the evolution of Hida’s relationships with the Forest, Human needs, Time, and Craft.
