The La Luz de Jesus Gallery recently opened an exhibition called Pop Sequentialism: Comic Art of the Modern Age. The exhibit runs until May 29th and shows sketches and line drawings of some of the most succesful and influential artists creating comics today. From Mark Bagley to Michael Avon Oeming, Frank Quitely to John Romita Jr, a wide array of different styles and techniques are on display. Along with them are sculptures and work by Peter Shire, an LA native who's playfully industrial art fits in well inside the eclectic building.
