Artopia May 15 and Ninja-Con June 7



L.A. Weekly's Artopia will be taking place May 15th. From 7pm to 11pm those attending at Grand Central Market will be treated to guests and food mentioned from the Best of LA People Issue of LA Weekly.

Curated by Shana Nys Dambrot, this year’s Artopia features live mural painting by artists HUEMAN and Jim Mahfood, and sculptural installations by Ramiro Gomez, as well as a high-fashion peep show from the Bohemian Society featuring special guests Alexey Steele, Mika Mae Jones, Kaylani Lei and Annie Cruz. Creative collective dublab will be curating a music installation and The Peach Kings and The Record Company will be performing live!

Plus, the following Grand Central Market vendors will be open after hours to satiate your appetite during the event: Belcampo Meat Co., DTLA Cheese, Horse Thief, Jose Chiquito, Olio GCM, Roast To Go, Sarita's Pupuseria, Sticky Rice, Valerie at GCM and man
