Oh Friday last minute press releases, you always know you make me work before the weekend. Here's some last minute stuff to remind you about. You have Universal hiring Studio tour guides, LA Game Space getting it's act together and a new art show at Giant Robot.

LA Game Space Update

It seems the guys behind it finally finished the paperwork and are just starting. Not the biggest update since December, but at least it's an update on what's going on, here is how it looks so far. To me it's just an empty canvas and place for people to come together. Now I just wonder about parking.

Three Person Group Exhibition featuring James Kochalka, Matt Furie and Mark Todd
James Kochalka is a comic book artist, musician, and more hailing from Burlington, Vermont. His well known works include a new animated cartoon called Superfuckers. Matt Furie is well known for his illustrative character works, at times featuring super heroes and villains in a world that’s all his own. Mark Todd is an illustrator and instructor at Art Center College of Design. His works are often amalgamations of layers that often comprise his own takes on classic comics covers.
