Game Hype: Thoughts Of 100 Yen Little Big Planet with UFOs

100 Yen: The Japanese Arcade Experience

100 Yen: The Teaser Trailer from Strata Studios on Vimeo.

How does Japan play video games? Find out in 100 Yen: The Japanese Arcade Experience , but you might need to help out a little with crowd funding. Something I'd love to stream on Netflix.

I'm more than excitied about this one, since I try and find all the gamer related content in LA. BTW if your into fighters check you local arcade or game store they might have a game night or two. Maybe I'll try to post more about where those are, hhhm/

100 Yen is a historical documentary about the evolution of arcades and the culture surrounding it - from the birth of arcades to the game centers that still thrive today. With a predominant focus on the three major arcade genres, Shooting games, Fighting games and Rhythm games, 100 Yen explores the culture and evolution of arcades through the past and present. All filmed on location in Japan, Canada, and the USA featuring interviews with industry professionals, game programmers and designers, casual gamers and gaming icons."

Shin-Chan Games on DS

Sometime I'm sad at how we don't get Shin-Chan games in America. They look so much better than so many other games coming out. In this one Shin and his friends get ninja powers. Yes, Shin's main attack it to let's say duck, duck, goose someone's butt.

Mario Kart might have some copmetetion later this year.
