I Survived the Zombie Apocalypse

training... my friend didn't

As posted earlier this week, How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse is spreading the news on how to protect yourself from a god damn zombie apocalypse. I didn't know what to expect when I headed to Asylum Theater. Greeted by an old man in an army uniform and handed name tags from what appeared to be a white rapper and a nurse. I sat down to a interactive seminar on how to survive zombies ending the world.
Dr. Dale and his crew know their zombie knowledge, defining the differences between zombies and going through all the versions of zombies in media including video games. The shows got a clear sense of comedy with puns and jokes around every zombie hiding corner. Didn't realize the show was from the same writer of this tomb on Zombie awarness below. I must have seen this in book shops and comic book shops a bunch of times, didn't know I'd meet it's writer ever.

Dr Dale's Zombie Dictionary: The A-Z Guide to Staying Alive $16.95
You"ll learn basics from his crew, Daniel, Judy, and Tristen. Each member brings their on sense of style to the group much like a 4 player group in Left 4 Dead. Not the brightest bulbs at first, they"ll probably stump you at any zombie question you ask or try to hold over them.

During the Q & A, don't ask stupid questions. Even if you do the group can do some great improv. When Costco was mentioned  being full of crap and full of supplies for the apocalypse, they said, "Literally filled with crap?". They're British and never heard of the place, but deciphered it liking it to a Walmart. Also, it's stupid to go to one, to many dumb people all going for supplies. You learn a lot.

The shows not a play, it really is a training exercise telling you if you"ll live or die. Literally they judge if you"ll live or die. I made it out alive, I survived, thanks to video games and horror movies. Survivor rates haven't been high , the show I attended with two survivors, myself being one of them ,been the highest number of survivors in LA. See if you and your zombie fan friends can survive, y'know you want to be rated on how well you could make it out alive. Definitely go for the horror fan in you or after seeing The Evil Dead Trilogy going on today at the Egyptian June 18th, it's a perfect combo and just a few minutes away from each other. Be there or be dead! Don't miss it before Dr. Dale and his crew head back to England.
