Sack Sandwiches So Good

If you're cruisin' by Sunset or Melrose take a stop over at Sack Sandwiches, from the people who gave you the fancy "Ink" restaurant. Though you won't be paying Ink prices, you'll be getting Ink taste. Not the the taste of ink in your mouth. ... let me start over, they make great sandwiches at prices comparable to Subway.

They don't taste like Subway, they taste so darn good, you'll wonder why you get full on what seems like a small portion.
Cold Fried Chicken

While inside the tiny sandwich shop we tried both their well known Cold Fried Chicken and Cold Cut sandwich, both delectable delights. The flavor is still on our tongues from the Cold Fired Chicken, it had a little kick with it's own special hot sauce. They were many choices beyond that including their own Bahn Mi and another favorite called the Spanish Godfather. You can check out the full menu here, it's cute it separates sandwiches by meat.

We wouldn't say there's enough space to hang out if it's busy, it's best to load up on your subs and take them to go. Be prepared to wait a few minutes. We went when it wasn't even busy, but it shows with the quality of taste.

They also make their own chips daily to go with the subs and have their own milkshakes. You can drink Boylan soda and Stumptown coffee.

If you're in the mood for sandwiches and in the area, Sack Sandwiches is a much better choice than Subway or anything else nearby.
