Weekly What To Do: Halloween Week 2 Edition

Here's week two of all things Halloween in Los Angeles. Be sure to check out the Halloween in LA 2015 Master List for even more to do and plan ahead for all you can get out of October!

I'm partial to trying out Creep and The Sinner’s Soiree, oh, but then there's also all the horror movies to see at Screamfest. Sometime I wish I could just cut myself up and send different parts of me places. Or at least send an evil twin. Anyway, enjoy even more haunts and scares capturing LA.

Creep
Oct 2-Oct 31
718  E. Jackson St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
$20 in advance, 18+

You'll be trapped in a haunted warehouse downtown. To make it more intense and beating the ever flowing lines of the theme parks it's only six to a party that transverses this new twisted maze. Themed horror rooms and interactive scares as it all gets darker. It's new and we can't wait to try it out.

Carrie: The Killer Musical Experience
Oct 8-Nov 15
Los Angeles Theatre
615 S. Broadway. Los Angeles
$40/$80/$125

Carrie makes it back after that awful remake. You'll be given a 360 degree view of the event and supposedly be immersed in the show. I wonder if you need a poncho for buckets of blood?

SPECTREFEST: UNSEEN! UNSCREENED!! OBSCENE!!!: L.A. Premieres of Unknown 20th Century Terror Ragers - HACK-O-LANTERN & SLIME CITY double feature (w/ cast & filmmakers in attendance)!
Friday, Oct. 9th: HACK-O-LANTERN & SLIME CITY double feature (w/ cast & filmmakers in attendance!) at 7:45pm
Saturday, Oct. 10th: THE MASK (1961) in 3D at 5:00pm
Saturday, Oct. 10th: “NIGHT” NIGHT! : NIGHT FEEDER, NIGHT WARS and TWISTED NIGHTMARE Triple Feature! at 7:30pm

The Cinefamily
611 N Fairfax Avenue
$14 each

Some special and totally f'd up movies to watch that you won't be able to find online or anywhere else. Perfect to question as to how they were ever made or let loose in a local video store.

October 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, & 31
1020 El Centro St.
South Pasadena, CA 91030
(Entrance on Fairview Ave,)
$15 online $17 at the door

Walk through this haunt in small groups. From the little the give online it seems to be based around an insane asylum. This group has been doing it for a few years so they must be doing something scary.

Think Tank Gallery 939 S. Maple Ave Los Angeles, CA 90015
