Desert X 2021 Begins: Go Look At Art In The Desert

Eduardo Sarabia, The Passenger, all exhibit photography on this page by Lance Gerber

Just a few hours from LA and a few minutes from Palm Springs is Desert X, multiple art exhibits in the desert and Coachella Valley. You can head out now or start planning where to go via the Desert X site or app.

What I'm writing about is actual big installation-well, some are- art pieces that have been installed outside temporarily for roughly two months that you can go to. Your not in a museum, you're outside for it.

There's a few indoor locations to grab merch and maps including a geodesic dome sponsored by the Gucci x North Face collab called The Pit Stop. It's located at 333-301 W Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262.

Update: This is just an art exhibit, there is no physical store inside, there's no pop-up merch store nearby.

2nd Update: Two exhibits require timed entry and are selling out.

As we've gone over before this is the perfect getaway for a weekend. See the art, take a few photos and maybe learn a little about what the artist is trying to convey.
