The Annie Award's list of nominees for their 41st award show, awarding the best in animation have just been announced.

Check the full list here

It's an odd season for some of the categories

This year's video game nominees are thin
  • Diggs Nightcrawler
 - Moonbot Studios
  • Tiny Thief
 - 5 ANTS
  • The Last of Us -
Naughty Dog
I haven't heard of the other two games until now. However, The Last of Us is well known to the gaming community, it's even up to be a movie. A young girl and her father-like figure must survive zombies and people in a dystopian future.

Diggs Nightcrawler
from Moonbot Studios is one of the only games for Sony's Wonderbook, which has only 4 titles that have been released and it's unknown if the Wonderbook is compatible with the PS4. Digg Nightcrawler is a film noir send-up featuring nursery-rhyme characters.

Tiny Thief
 - 5 ANTS is a tablet/phone game which I have yet to play, but looks like the most inventive and fun. You're a thief who most outwit his enemies in this cartoony looking puzzle game.

Adventure Time is up for four awards:

Best Animated TV/Broadcast Production For Children’s Audience, against Beware The Batman, ha.

Nick Jenings, Sandra Calleros, Teri Shikasho, Ron Russell - Adventure Time - Cartoon Network Studios for Outstanding Achievement, Production Design in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production

Tom Kenny as the voice of Ice King - Adventure Time -
Cartoon Network Studios for Outstanding Achievement, Voice Acting in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production

 Paul Douglas - Adventure Time

Some Steven Universe love:

These nominees might get weird by how their networks treated them
