LA Times Sells Out To Minions

Come on LA Times, you're better than this.

The LA Times recently sold space on their masthead to Universal's the Minions for $300,000. First found on LA Observed, from Cartoon Brew's list of Six of the Weirdest ‘Minions’ Marketing Stunts, the stupid yellow warts may be showing the LA Times' age and financial trouble. It's widely known that print sales are going poorly and LA Observed goes into it much deeper of how bad it's going at the Times.

Many of the Times current and former staff aren't happy either, who would when the paper you work for sells out and brings into question if articles are all paid for.

Two stories from the times yesterday with a very positive look at the film.
