-Red Chinese lanterns and stunning plum blossom Wishing Trees fill Universal Plaza as the “Year of the Dog” leaps to life at Universal Studios Hollywood’s annual Lunar New Year event.

-The all-new Jade Palace Performance Stage will be home to two engaging guest activities:

o   The exciting Dragon Warrior Training Show based on the beloved Kung Fu Panda franchise will engage guests of all ages in an interactive martial arts demonstration performed by Master Po and friends.

o   Veteran DreamWorks animators will demonstrate the practical techniques of drawing their favorite Kung Fu Panda characters as keepsake mementos.

- Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop from Kung Fu Panda will come to life, including Mr. Ping himself who will invite guests to enjoy his authentic Asian fare and a selection of hot and cold beverages.

-Mandarin-speaking MEGATRON from Transformers returns to interact with guests, engaging them both in Mandarin and in real-time conversation characteristic of his persona.

-Despicable Me Minions will join the festivities in traditional Lunar New Year attire to meet guests and take memorable photos.
