Anime Expo Problems Addressed By AX CEO

An open letter by Marc Perez, the CEO of the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation behind Anime Expo -whose parking space TTDILA never saw filled on Friday and Saturday of AX- tells how registration should be much faster next year and other boring features.

"Onsite badge pick-up areas will be increased to process significantly more badges per hour.
(To put things into perspective, badge pick-ups were processed at a rate of about 2,000 people per hour in 2013, and about 4,000 people per hour in 2014.)"

Read the entire letter here, but after watching a special on the 2014 Japan Expo in France we at TTDILA have to think our anime convention could be a whole lot better. Not just in lines and room for shows. Why can't the attractions, events and booths be more exciting? None of that is mentioned in the letter, nor any attempts to expand to something greater.

AX remains to be an event that has so much going on and what can only be called poor planning.

Here's a poor article explaining AX.

Anime Expo 2014: Fun event gets all scholarly

I've never once heard of it being referred to as "Weird City", there are so many other events in LA that could take that name.
