Delicious Food You Need To Try Around LA: Including A Dinosaur Themed Restaurant with Gothic Lolita Maids

Hungry? We have a slathering of food to get you salivating from Pasadena to Santa Monica. Hidden restaurants to strange new treats to try in our list of places you should get a bite, living in LA and all.

Cookie Good
2448 Wilshire Blvd
Santa Monica, CA 90403

(424) 280-4100

This cookie shop serves a selection of old-school favorites in redone ways. Try their take with the Nutter Butter Brownie, Rice Kripsy Treat cookie, Frosted Flakes cookie, Circus Animal cookie and even the Cheetos cookie? We think, we got ya with the Cheetos cookie alone. Cookies come at $2  each.

Tart Bites
17233 Ventura Blvd
Encino, CA 91316
(818) 646-9071

If your in need for a different sort of bakery good you can't go bad with Tart Bites, tangy sugary snacks to scarf down. It also sells custom cakes if you're in the need.

Churro Borough
1726 N Vermont Ave

Los Angeles, CA 90027
Los Feliz
(323) 662-0341

There's is one sweet treat of cinnamon that can't be beat in SoCal, the churro. And Churro Borough has a whole restaurant around the lengthy filler-upper. The mother watering treat comes with ice cream if you order the "original." The churro take on a cookie form in that version of the treat.

8520 Santa Monica Blvd
West Hollywood, CA 90069
(323) 488-3010

The burger joint franchise that everyone was talking about is still quite busy with wait times. What makes this place so special still might be the hype. Enough people seem to like their take on burgers enough for it to stay open.

They not only serve their acclaimed burgers and shakes, which are actually made of custard and LA has it's own, the Shack Attack LA Edition, they also have hot-dogs, chicken, beer & wine and yes, even dog treats.
2214 W Magnolia Blvd
Unit A
Burbank, CA 91506
 (818) 843-1035

This ice cream serves it's frozen goodness in-between funnel cakes. A fast roll out selection means there's always something new to try.

*Funnel cake sandwiches on only Wednesdays, at certain times, called ahead.

1824 W Main St
Alhambra, CA 91801
(626) 282-6533

Wait, there's something else to do that close to Nucleus. The city of Alhambra has about nothing going for it other than Nucleus and a Heavy Metal themed burger joint, Grill ‘Em All, the city also bares a good ol' fashioned Ice Cream parlor.

Over 48 flavors await you and they of course make banana splits, shake and malts and other old time favorites. It's also a candy shop too, get ready for a brain freeze and a sugar rush!

15301 Gale Ave
City of Industry, CA 91745
(626) 336-5899

A dinosaur themed restaurant with Gothic Lolita servers that serves Thai food. I've been asked about this one a lot.  It's all concept and nothing beyond that, you're going there for it's looks and looks like it has a T- Rex Skeleton.

*There's huge problems with its times. On its website, when it's up, the times don't always accurately tell when it's open and calling doesn't help much either. Have a back-up place in mind if you're driving all the way out to it.
