The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art Opens Sept 22

 By Jonathan Bilski

A giant alien spaceship opens its doors to the world September 22nd. It's not a promo for the release of Disclosure Day on streaming. It's not a new pop-up for a show on Netflix. It's more than 40,000 works of art from George Lucas, creator of Star Wars in his brand new museum.

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art will finally open after years of us and multiple LA outlets telling you about it. Speculating what would go in it and what it would look like when completed was a fun past time, but the wait is over. LA is already in awe of it; just look above, for it's outstanding design, looking like a inviting alien space craft.

Now, in a few months we'll find out what's inside as more and more is revealed. Until it finally opens.

In the meantime, we know it's all in good hands with not only George Lucas leading his museum and the exhibit Star Wars in Motion, showcasing the vehicles from the universe, part of the inaugural Cinema exhibition. We also have Lucas' wife Mellody Hobson Co-CEO and President, Ariel Investments
 and Co-chair of the Board
for the museum. With other great names on the board like Guillermo del Toro.

So, the only thing to worry about really is parking and how busy it will be to get into it.
