Anime Riverside 2026: JoJo Pose Off!

Welcome, as the annual JoJo Pose Off! in Westminster... I mean Riverside, begins. Just look as men and women and whatever other terms they wish to be called strain their backs and their pride as a crowd demands pure excellence or at least leaning. Yes, the annual competition of poses, not roses was quite the fanfare.

If you don't know JoJo's Bizarre Adventure it's a long running manga and anime series divided into different parts, involving those related to the JoJo family and many names of characters are taken from famous bands. What's also frequent is over-the-top poses from everyone in the manga from just entering a fight to just entering a conversation; people pose as though on a catwalk high on cocaine in the 80's.

This time the battle was fierce with many contestants. Just to be clear not all that cosplay is from JoJo. There's a lot of random in hear, but it's hard to tell, if you haven't seen all the show.

It became a heated battle between not just duos, but even a trios, but in the end it came down to a young man with a shark head and a 63-year-old cosplayer. The old-timer won! He was cosplaying as the original JoJo's Dad, George Joestar, who didn't event have powers or even a stand. So, all he could mainly do was stand.

At one point he did pose dropping dead. To the audience's delight.

In the end, he won against all other contestants who honestly did try harder with athletics and stretching. Our champ posed with one of the judges dressed a long time bad guy in the series Dio and a previous winner of the contest.

Let's looks and the other competitors.
