Anime Expo 2026: Artist Alley Size, Los Angeles Anime Artist Alley & 18+ Section Gets A Row?

As pointed out online it looks like Artist Alley has been trimmed due to work being done on the LA Convention Center. Not the greatest news. Social media claims it's half the size it was last year. Still, there's quite a few booths and returning artists that you'll no doubt want to check out.

It look like some artists are coming together for an outside Artist Alley. Los Angeles Anime Artist Alley is not officially connected to AX, but it happening the same weekend. It tells you a lot if so many people banded together to do this. It seems like a lot of space was lost this year at AX. It's a nice alternative if you want to ogle and grab artist/fan made goods without having to pay for AX and it's not far from Little Tokyo. Which has the Kondasha pop-up happening then too and the Delicious in Dungeon Exhibit nearby as well.

The newest change and a bit of space removal from Anime Expo's artist alley, at least for some people, is that a row will now be part of 18+ and sectioned off. Just like the 18+ section, you'll be carded to peruse the more naughty booths at AX.

Oh, jeez, what will American artists make to sell at these booths? We'll give you the skinny for probably the weirdest stuff. Here's hoping some artists makes the Food Network's top host into something we're gonna have to black bar to show you on this site.

Writing about 18+ section, the MEME50 Autograph Session #1 & #2 sold out already. People like there p0rn.
