E3 in effect

Downtown is filled with gamers and game makers. If you got a press pass it's like Christmas. Free stuff galore.

Game news will be chiming in for the next couple of days, I'll post on some my favorite news. I sadly must admit I didn't get a press pass to E3 this year.

But,for the average Los Angelian like you and I this also means some fun events open to the masses here in LA and they be music based

West Coast Wig Out 2 (Video game inspired music concert)

Many video game and 8-bit bands will be attending including the Megas. The Megas last album featured songs for different types of Megaman bosses. Every song represented a different boss.

will be hearing from amazing acts such as the one and only mega man rock band The Megas, chip hop extraordinaire A_Rival, amazing underground rapper and nerdcore champion Random AKA Mega Ran. We can’t forget the amazing chiptune stylings of Los Angeles artists Wizwars and EvilWezil. Also for the classier folks in attendance we have the incredible video game jazz of Tanuki Suit Riot.

it at the

Nucleus Gallery which I don't think is the best idea because they aren't the best when it come too setting up sound systems. Hell maybe they did it right this time.

Video Games Live

A real orchesta plays classic video game music from different series. Yes, the play the one about Sephiroth. For the refined gamer in you why not listen to some of your favorite games played by a band surrounded by other gamers.

I attended one of the first Video Games Live at the Hollywood Bowl years ago. It was awful. Hopefully it's gotten much better. Plus it's at a different location.
