Gregory A. Hignight recently passed, he played a distinctive role in the Japanese/anime community and might be best known from Tune in Tokyo Events. I met him a few times through Q Pop and anime related events. Many people are posting fond memories they had of the man on his Facebook.

All that was said is so far online is that he passed away in his sleep. Greg seemed to be active only a week ago attending the Japan Family Day at Santa Anita Park. This comes as a real shock to many who knew him.
