DesignerCon is an annual art and design convention that smashes together collectible toys, customs, plush, designer apparel and so much more with urban, underground and pop art!
 
The simplest way to put it is 3 days / 700 vendors and 350+ artists. We really go for all the amazing stuff that you might find sold out online, meeting artists and selling things that might not be sold again. Grab it, in only one place. 


 
 Tree Lightings
 
Wednesday, November 16th from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

The lighting of a glorious 46.5 ft. live White Fir Christmas tree and Santa’s arrival take place at approximately 6:00 pm with a number of activities to enjoy all evening long. Family-friendly festivities begin at 5:00 pm and include complimentary balloon twisting, face painting, a ball pit, bounce house and crafts. Seasonal performances on the Seaport Way stage include holiday trio The Sugarplums at 5:00 pm and Hollywood-based big band jazz ensemble Phat Cat Swinger at 6:30 pm.

This year we are starting off with our Holly Jolly Holiday Tree Lighting! On Saturday, November 19th from 5pm-7pm, tag along with us as toys come to life and Santa lights our tree on our dining terrace! Following the tree lighting ceremony, you are invited to come and enjoy hot festive beverages and decorate an ornament to place on our community tree. This is a free event for everyone to come & spread Christmas cheer together! 
 
The grand opening celebration is on Wed, November 16, 2022 from 6 - 10 p.m.
Ice is located on the corner of Fifth Street and Arizona Avenue at 1324 Fifth St.

Every year during the joyous season, the park undergoes a complete transformation into a dazzling winter wonderland featuring a landscape of thousands of twinkling lights, miles of beautiful garland and a variety of picturesque settings.

In collaboration with Councilman Mitch O’Farrell along with the City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles City Hall will be illuminated in red in honor and memory of drunk and drugged driving victims.  This will be the first time in MADD Southern California’s history that victims have been honored in such a meaningful way.  Illuminating the lights red will officially acknowledge the kickoff of MADD’s Tie One On for Safety® (TOOFS) campaign.  TOOFS is MADD's longest-running designated driver, and public awareness program.   TOOFS highlights efforts to save lives during one of the most dangerous times of the year on our nation's roadways - the holiday season between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.
