-The biggest news is you not needing a vaccination card or Covid-free test to get in. However, when inside the LA Convention Hall you will have to wear a mask, just like WonderCon.

Update: So, looks like Anime Expo did a 180 and you will need a vaccine card or or negative test to attend and now the policy is final. Many are speculating online that the volunteers and staff as wells as many con-goers weren't happy with the policy.

If, I haven't made it clear, you should check out the dub of Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs. What an easy to remember title (C-'mon guys, someone needs to change the names of these show for American audiences) is another isekai anime or you die and get sent to another world anime. What sets this one apart is the main character is reborn as a background character in a terrible dating sim. And in this dating sim, rich ladies call all the shots.

What really works in the hilarious dub is the main character is a jerk. Leon Fou Bartfort hates going to his posh school and dealing with the rich spoiled school body, which hates him back for ruining the world's flow and hierarchy. And, beating up some of the pretty boys, who might include the prince of that world.

The latest episode had him in a race at school that even had the announcer talking smack to him. People really don't like him.

It doesn't hurt he has a robot helper who constantly cracks jokes at his expense, knows secrets about the world because he already played it and he has some cute girls with huge chests that are his friends.

12-episodes of low stakes non-sense with constant put-downs is a must watch.
