*Woah, years in the making. Little Tokyo has a community gym and another place for events. Seriously, I think we've been writing about this for about a decade. It's been in development longer than Alamo Draft House LA.

Free community events will be provided with games, performances, activities and food.

We’ve partnered with Downtown Santa Monica to start a new series of markets beginning in late February. Similar to our flagship events that take place in the summer, with a curated list of recurring vendors to lead up to our regularly scheduled events. We hope to welcome new and returning food lovers from the Westside to join us. This event series will take place nearby Third Street Promenade at Lot 27 and will be free for attendees. With a smaller number of vendors we hope to have a more intimate and casual setting for attendees to enjoy our favorite vendors. The event will also feature an alcohol garden with limited edition cocktails. Reserve your tickets for our newest event today. Capacity is limited.

Donut W(h)ole is an homage to the Cambodian immigrant and Cambodian American (Khmerican), the aftermath of warfare and genocide, stories of survival, determination, and commitment to the family unit. The exhibition is also a celebration of the Cambodian stories told through the lens of 1st and 2nd generation Khmericans who grew up in their family's donut shop.

49th Annual Annie Awards
Saturday, March 12th, 7pm
Stream it live at the above link

What crazy hi-jinks will the animation awards get into this year? Will animators bring up streaming pay issues, the weird "Don't Say Gay" law in Florida and other issues? Who knows? But, it'll probably be a mix of stuffy coats and weird stories from presenters who sound like they might be on drugs.

We highly recommend seeing The Batman in theaters. It's 3 hours so pace yourself with an Icee and don't eat a huge meal before seeing it. See it in the gimmicky Screen X version here

*Jeez, a lot of upcoming shows with friends, might as well put & Knuckles
