All Metro Bus and Rail lines will be FREE to ride on the night of New Year’s Eve. No fare will be charged from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.
This is because of the many DUI's that happen on that night. So, remember stay alive don't drink and drive or just get a Lyft or Uber. But it's pretty sweet using the Metro for free to get home or near home.
