Weekly What To Do: Oscars Weekend

Unless you're invited, avoid Hollywood and Highland this weekend like someone you really don't want to talk to. As we already posted (Hollywood Street Closures) it's going to be insanely busy this weekend at the Dolby theater.

We always wait for the story of how many cars get towed in the area on Oscar night. That's right, hundreds of cars don't pay attention and celebrities pretty much own the streets nearby.

Hell, even the Metro station will be closed at Hollywood and Highland on Sunday.

Other than Oscars parties there's still plenty to do.

BTW, our money is on The Favourite to win for best picture. Why? It's really messed up and has some let's say... naught behavior (self/love) at the beginning. Del Toro's winning best picture Underwater Dating or The Shape of Water, did too. The Academy likes self/love.

*Oh, and two different themed concerts for video games!

Roma". "A Star is Born". "Black Panther". What do these movies have in common? None of them have Jeff Goldblum in them. Oh, and they're also nominated for Academy Awards (They'd maybe win if they had Jeff Goldblum). Come celebrate the greatest event happening on a Sunday in February that doesn't involve football with literally the greatest actor alive, and original Gold Man, Jeff Goldblum (Kenny Stevenson). Jeff and his friends will pick the winner in all of the biggest categories, and because it's Jeff Goldblum, there will probably be some jazz music! Jeff Goldblum is amazing and everyone loves how quirky and fun he is. (please note that Jeff Goldblum wrote this description himself).
