Halloween Hype: X-Mas Horrors Already? Is That Chocolate? Wait, Was That Always The Ghostbusters Theme?

Christmas at the Kringles Fan Premiere

Heritage Square Museum
Free, ADMISSION IS FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED

The story follows the Seversons, a family starting fresh in a quiet suburban neighborhood, whose next-door neighbors, the Kringles, celebrate Christmas year-round. What begins as charming quickly turns unsettling, as Mark and Julie grow concerned about their son’s growing attachment to the family. After a heated confrontation, Mark heads next door to bring his family home only to uncover the Kringles’ true intentions: to hypnotize and indoctrinate them. What follows is a life-or-death rescue mission, as Mark teams up with a rogue, badass Santa in a high-stakes, action-packed fight to save his family.

Solid list from BD on horror movies to watch for Halloween.

These murals for Hershey's new chocolate are somewhat baffling as people unsure if their A.I. made or a joke making fun of A.I. or just poorly done. Whatever it is, it doesn't make it look appetizing.

Shudder has two new horror movies in time for Halloween. The Cycle, is an instant new classic. It also seems like it should air on USA Network if it still did original movies. And, not just because Jeffrey Donovan, star of Burn Notice is in it. I highly recommend going in blind, possibly passing even on the trailer. The less you know going in the better, but it does start off as a police procedural.

Shudder sadly tricked me and many others with a nice poster for Hallowarrior that might be too depressing to watch after a few minutes. Sigh...I did and can't say it's worth your time. Some great concepts and even some fun visuals, but you can see how it's the director's first major film.

"Desperate for companionship on a post apocalyptic Halloween night, the Last Girl on Earth gets more than she bargained for."

It mashes too well together.

There are so many in-jokes from Horrorthon Mystery Game that you could buy at the 21st Annual Areo Horrothon this year. Hope they sell more!
