Ohhh, we're excited for this one; Backrooms released a teaser trailer and it's a mindf*ck. Based on a series of random internet videos and lore from the net comes a new creepy horror movie.
From different stuff we've been reading online, you can best think of the Backrooms as a place making bad copies of itself. As you see in the trailer, the copies get worse and worse of the same room like a fading memory.
Apparently the trailer is all CGI too.
Going off of more modern days fears, you sort of enter the Backrooms like clipping through reality like in a video game.

Jeez, we utterly hate the name, but love the camera or as it's awfully called the instax mini Evo Cinema. Fujufilm marketing department you nailed it...into the ground. We hate you on par with StudioCanal's handling of the Fackham Hall movie. Jesus, guys, who thought that was a good name? It flows like a turd clinging to a bowl.
See, in Japan they have a Jidai festival and at it have plays from different eras and a large historical reenactment parade so they named it after that. Here, in English speaking countries they went with Gen, not Decade Dial or something more clever related to a time travel movie.
Same thing with the camera, like a Jules Verne camera or clock camera. Instax mini Evo Cinema is not gonna be a common term, ughhh.
It also prints out tiny photos and you can choose if you want to put a QR code on them so people can download the photo or clip. I mean, it's just perfect for parties or any occasion.
Do we wish the name wasn't pure Engrish garbage or the camera came in some other colors than black? Oh, yeah.
