There's a huge group show of art happening right next to Museum Row. Check out a store's worth of different artist, with some tributes to the defunct 99 Cent store chain.
From VernissageTV's video above- "Artist Barry McGee, in collaboration with galleries Jeffrey Deitch and The Hole, has curated an exhibition showcasing work by over 100 artists: paintings, sculptures, illustrations, and performances. Held in conjunction with Frieze Week Los Angeles, the exhibition displays over 4,000 works from floor to ceiling of the former 99-cent store, preserving the character of the space with its cash registers, refrigerators, and merchandise shelves.
The 99Cent exhibition presents Barry McGee originals, artworks from his personal collection and contributions from over 100 artists, including KATSU, Chito, Ruben Preciado, Gary Baseman, Tom Franco, Lauren Halsey and many more. The show runs until March 1, 2026."
