Deadpan, small-time Kosher Nostra member and ex-con Harry Plotnick (Martin Priest) is just released from prison and trying to regain his lost turf in a neighborhood turned topsy-turvy. After a chance reunion with his ex-wife and grown children, Harry is suddenly immersed in middle-class normality and goes meshugga when he gets into the catering biz with his ex-brother-in-law (Ben Lang). What follows is a world of call girls, bar mitzvahs, lingerie fashion shows, Cuban-Chinese mobsters, subway parties, Mafia barbecues, dog training classes, Congressional hearings, and hotel pajama parties.

Beyond Fest, the highest-attended genre film festival in the US, returns for its 11th outing with a 55-feature slate spanning 15 days of cinematic excess, including 5 world premieres, 3 North American Premieres, 7 US premieres, and 18 West Coast Premieres.

It's another insane amount of movies for this Beyond Fest. Plenty of horror films to scare you during early October and plenty of cult classics and restorations to be in awe of. And quite a lot of free screenings to drool over.
The world has been reduced to rubble by a massive earthquake. While no one knows for sure how far the ruins stretch, or what the cause of the earthquake may be, in the heart of Seoul there is only one apartment building left standing. It is called Hwang Gung Apartments.
