On view from August 5 through September 7, the 2,500-square foot exhibit will allow visitors to explore the mythical world of Westeros, the Targaryen dynasty, and the dragons that ruled beside them.

Free with paid museum admission, the House of the Dragon experience will feature tutorials on the Valyrian language, original costumes from the show, and series memorabilia, including dragon eggs. The topsy turvy world portrayed in Lampe's paintings is a trip out of pandemia. Inspired by an old-timey aesthetic, from Steamboat Willie to Bette Boop and Dr. Seuss, Lampe describes his work as "a mish-mosh of those old-timey influences with some Duccio-inspired mountains and the inevitable light-switch nose.”

Instantly recognized as one of the UK’s most prolific Urban Contemporary artists, D*Face (Dean Stockton) has occupied the forefront of his practice since his first sell out show in 2005.

The moon has always inspired poets and composers. “Songs to the Moon” begins with a set of moon-themed art songs for voice and piano. The concert concludes with a rare performance of George Crumb’s magical “Night of the Four Moons” with texts by Federico Garcia Lorca. Scored for alto voice, alto flute/piccolo, banjo, electric cello, and percussion, the work was composed in 1969 during the Apollo 11 mission.
