The Skyslide up above us downtown on the US Bank Tower is gonna be removed (probably by helicopter) as some new owners just don't want to deal with it. They're giving the building a $60 million facelift and getting rid of it and will put a cafe all the way up there instead.
The slide has been closed since 2020. So, it really only operated for about 4 years. It was an overpriced tourist attraction, but a welcome one. It'll be missed.
