Weekly What To Do: IndieCade and AFI Fest Online

Don't forget to check out the Halloween Guide, the lovely titled:
we update it with the latest Halloween events and haunts. So, if you're wondering where all the Halloween stuff is, it's there!

Oct 15-22
$8 per screening and up

AFI Fest is now a month early and online with a huge selection of some of the strangest and dramatic films that have been on the festival circuit. There's a wide selection, sadly not a real Midnight section of weird films with some horror this year, but if you go through the list you'll be sure to find something.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 15th AT 7PM PT (new shows will follow every Thursday)

While the Circus has been in quarantine, we’ve built a platform full of fun customizable games where you can interact face to face with your friends and have a good laugh from anywhere in the world. Reunite with your friends, loved ones, colleagues, and still be competitive from the comfort of your couch.

Join Two Bit Circus’ own Eric Gradman and Brent Bushnell for our live, play-from-home, interactive gameshow: REMOTE.

October 16-24
Free, but $45 for more access

IndieCade may be online, but it doesn't change it's tenets about showcasing indie games. This new online version isn't the same as getting to meet people in person, but it's the best that can be managed in these times and we'll have to see what we gleam from this online incarnation of the event. Here's hoping for some fun over the Internet.

There's some online multiplayer games that we wonder how will be scheduled.
The 2020 festival lineup will include gameplay, exhibitions, conference sessions, workshops, discussions, Twitch streams and more, in addition to a virtual showcase of this year’s nominated titles that highlight top achievement across indie gaming.
