Local Hype: No LA Comic-Con This Year, Vroman's, Free Concerts Coming, Gundams & Cinephile Fun Online

We really enjoy how the writer of the article is confounded by how dumb it was that LA Comic-Con was gonna try for December.

Let's hope this great book store can stay open.

The LA Times used a very unflattering picture for this one, we're not sure how the editor said this doesn't look super weird.

BANDAI HOBBY POP-UP STORE

Not sure why, but there's a pop-up Gundam store in Little Tokyo starting tomorrow.

-Stamp Rewards: Every $15 spent qualifies for a stamp. Collect 10 stamps and earn a free gift.
-There will be fun Gundam Characters and Mobile Suits positioned in and around nearby shops in Little Tokyo. Fans are encouraged to take their photo with these fun displays to share on social media. Tag @BluefinBrands and use #BandaiPopUpShop to share your adventure.

This is a wonderful article on all things cinema going on virtually in LA or connected to the various theaters in LA.

People in LA have really been enjoying these kind of virtual shows where a box of stuff gets mailed to you. Strange times .
