Boobs and Blood International Film Festival
Oct 5-6
The Mayflower Club
11110 Victory Blvd
North Hollywood, CA 91606
Average $10 per event

A small film festival that packs a punch. A lot of the slaes of tickets goes to fight breast cancer. No, we're not making this stuff up. Special events include a SCREAM QUEEN-ATHON, featuring 9 of the best Scream Queens and horror actresses in the business.

And if you can believe it, another showing of Ghost Squad.
We just saw Ghost Squad, an utterly strange, sexy and bloody piece of work from Japanese director Noboru Iguchi. It played at the KaPow Intergalactic Film Festival last Sunday, which also means the writing about it being the LA premiere is a lie. Still the Boobs and Blood Festival event sounds even better.

Japanese Madness

"With free DVDs and more special guests from the world of PINK movies TBA.
Dress as a Japanese Ghost and get free admission."

But wait, that's not the end of Ghost Squad news!

The movie is playing yet again on

Ghost Squad
Wed, Oct 24, 7pm
JFLA Auditorium
5700 Wilshire Blvd, #100, Los Angeles, CA 90036

Through the Japan Foundation this time.

We highly recommend it. We'll try and get a review out for it, but it's best going in knowing it's incredibly dumb with no subtlety to the soft-core lesbianism.

Screamfest finally has it's line-up...well up. Check out from the brutal selection. We really want to see
Open 24 Hours a story a bout a girl just started working the night shift at a gas station mini-mart when her murderous psycho killer ex-boyfriend comes back from the dead.  And special 20th Anniversary screening of Bride of Chucky. There's just so many more to choose from! We could just die!

Oct 9-18

Individual film tickets are $11.00 each.

All Night Horrorthon 13
Sat, Oct 27, 2018
Aero Theatre 1328 Montana Avenue,
Santa Monica, CA 90403

One of our favorite events for Halloween season. And this year it's the special 13 version of the thon that keeps you up all night.

What's playing"
1. Jason X -Space is the place
2. Body Melt
3. Link
4. Maximum Overdrive-Stephen King on cocaine in the 80's directed this
5. Zombie 3
6. Curtains
7. Antropophagus

"Spend all night at the Aero Theatre’s 13th annual Horrorthon! Complete with between-film free food, giveaways, trailers and crazy shorts, this movie marathon feels like rowdiest and most bizarre sleepover you’ll ever attend. Expect special appearances by the beloved Corn Gorn and his bride, Frost Nixon, Wizard Policeman, George Washingmachine and more from the Horrorthon canon. Be prepared to be showered with candy from Randy and DVDs at random. Pack your pillows and survival kits and don’t be shy…the louder you scream, the better your chances of being crowned Mister Horrorthon 2018. Oh, and did we mention stack upon stacks of free pizza and Monster drinks?"

Fanta will have specially designed cases and bottles of their fruit sodas for Halloween again this year. Apparently, the nod to Halloween from Fanta goes a long way and people buy more of it during October The designs do change every year and though lasts years had the dreadful new mummy from Universal, this year it's back to a classic mummy with a pineapple for a head. These sodas should already be on shelves when this posts goes up. They just might be hard to find based on store selection.

And Crush has a nod to Dia de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead with a nice sugar skull design

And somehow Cartoon Network's OK KO will have the young Ghoul Girls from Scooby Doo's Ghoul School in a episode out on the app and playing on television Oct 21st.
