Last year, Fanta gave us Chucky's Punch based on the doll with a serial killer's soul trapped in it. This year, we get Ghostface representing the Scream franchise. And, with it's own flavor Ghost Face Punch, that's supposed to be a dark berry punch flavor.
Sadly, Fanta a diversion of Coca-Cola has decided to go heavy with an AI Slop ad promoting the flavors and new characters like a Werewolf DJ you can see below. If it's pulled or it's not working, it tells you how people weren't liking it.
Not sure if any more AI ads will hit streaming or television, but it's a bad look. It cheapens the fun new characters selling us Halloween soda.
Oh, and they're trying to sell them hard as these new characters are supposed to be part of "Fanta’s Haunted Universe." They're trying to sell this a little to hard and it's kind of sad. The silliest bit is the press release for it says there' four new characters, but never names them. So enjoy whomever they are. I'm calling them Chad Vampire, Werewolf DJ (werewolves and music a thing?), Cyborg Frankenstein and Jack Off Lantern.
Halloween Oreos are back on shelves. 6 spooky designs with orange colored creme filling.
Universal Studios Japan takes the cake again, out classing our local theme park with a special haunt that requires you to fill-out a form for an adults only attraction. You can read more about it at Sora News.
And, over at Bloody Disgusting you can read about the awesome new interactive Resident Evil (Biohazard in Japan) maze/ experience. Sometimes the experience "pauses the game" making all the live action staff just stay in place.
Then, over in Kyoto, you can experience Dance With Yokai. Where Japanese monsters from their mythology come to life, have a parade and dance. Read more about it over at Sora News.
