Kinokuniya Bookstore - Los Angeles Moving Locations

 

Kinokuniya Bookstore is temporarily closing. You can read the official statement here. The store's last day is this Sunday the 20th until it might re-open in a new location mid-August. We just called the store about the move and the couldn't say why they're moving, but the new location will still reside in Little Tokyo.

The store has been in that location since 1980 and been in Little Tokyo since 1970, first as a small store in a hotel in the area.
