DROP is a new service for Cal residents. It's not that hard to sign-up just follow that steps online and you should be able to have less ads targeting you. If you have an iPhone you might have to get a free app to get a special code from your phone, but it take us much time here at TTDILA.
What's kind of weird is that nothing really starts happening until August 2026 when requests formally go out from DROP that your information be deleted by data brokers. It seems with internet lingo and legalize if you directly tell these groups I don't want my info out there or to be deleted that puts them in the area of the law where they can be sued, so they'll have to get rid of your info or face possible future lawsuits.
This is really only the start of laws helping Americans combat our data being sold without our permission. DROP so far can only tell Californian info brokers that are registered here to drop it. So, we'll have to see how good it works and what needs to be added to make it stronger, maybe a federal version. But, it's a start.
And, at it's possible endTesla’s Diner Went From Viral Sensation to Empty Pit Stop in Six Months
In not surprising news, the Telsa Diner is seeing a lot less attendance since its opening about 6 months ago. The head chef left and now people can pay for overpriced food that doesn't taste that great. Though some would argue it was never that great. For all it's fanfare it might be a tourist trap that drags on for a few more months before closing. More than likely it'll just be destroyed and be used for room for more charging spaces.
And, sadly no shows for LA or even Cal for the Comedy Music Road Show with Wolves of Glendale, Kyle Gordon, and On Company Time. These comedic wunderkinds of music have been winning over the Internet for the last few years with ridiculous songs. Kyle Gordon is wonderful at mocking any sort of era of music, we've literally tricked friends with his music videos that look spot on from the 80's, 90's or 2000's he's done. The three man bands of OCT and Wolves of Glendale music vids are also a delight to watch whenever down.
Now, they have a small tour together around the US in April you might want to check out. Sigh, if you're not in LA.
Nashville, TN: Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Exit/In.
St. Louis, MO: Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Delmar Hall.
