For his first solo exhibition in Los Angeles, Guadalupe Maravilla transforms REDCAT into an environment for healing and storytelling. Born in El Salvador, Maravilla fled the country at the age of eight as an unaccompanied minor to escape the violence of the twelve-year Salvadoran Civil War, reuniting with his family in the United States. As an adult, the artist survived cancer, a disease he believes resulted from the childhood traumas of war, migration, exile, and formerly living in the US undocumented. Throughout this new exhibition, Maravilla retraces his personal journey as a migrant while connecting it with the journeys of others, offering a site for ancestral healing and collective care.

Shooty Shooty Robot Invasion
Here's one we might have passed up on reporting. With how good it looks, we thought Shooty Shooty Robot Invasion was gonna be a massive hit. Sadly, it looks like it hasn't reached that high at all. The creator seems to have been abandoned by his publisher before release and is now unemployed from his regular job. So, you might want to check it out as the in-game story is in no way as depressing.
It also makes you think, not all games are breakout hits. It's weird to learn Date Everything only reached 500,000 sales a few weeks ago, we though they'd hit a million right away.
Shooty Shooty Robot Invasion is out now on steam for only $9.99, grab it today and blow away some killer robots.
Synopsis: An absurdist FPS/interactive fiction game where you murder stupid robots, chat with idiot people, and explore a painstakingly hand-drawn and highly animated world!
hi, my game bombed and now im unemployed and broke so ive decided to open up one of these things (check in my bio for it) ‼️

Titles aren’t revealed until they unspool onscreen. What we can say is that this six-film marathon is soaking in cartoonish carnage, sassy familiars, self-aware unseriousness, blood in the fridge, high school horndogs, neon techno-pop, head-spinning line readings, goth MILFs, juvenile jerks, “Scooby-Doo”-style intrigue, the biggest of hairdos, the dirtiest of dancing, mood whiplash, dramatic eyeliner, indulgent improv, idiot morons, camp on camp on camp, law enforcement refusing to believe the protagonists to a ridiculous degree, gore geysers, claustrophobic cackles, disembodied heads and a truckload of timeless whimsy.
