High Desert Test Sites 2022

If you want to escape for a weekend and go on adventure you have the opening of High Desert Test Sites. This first weekend will have the artists and the people behind it in attendance, but after that it's self-guided tours in the desert. Think, hippy artist installations in the desert. The guide online doesn't explain much about each outdoor installation, but you'll be in Joshua Tree and not far from Palm Springs and Pioneertown. It makes as a fun off the road adventure as Coachella and Stagecoach are both happening this month. Still, if you just want to enjoy a short search for the desert you'll want to hang out here this weekend.
Starts April 9th
After opening weekend, all sites will be open for self guided visits from 11am-4pm, Saturdays and Sundays April 16-May 22.
