What We Found On The Net Today: Batman Art, Slasher Pizza, Mochinut, Bill’s Burgers, Universal Comics? & Green Knight Game

-Some new places to snag eats at around LA.

Slasher Pizza
1466 Glendale Blvd. Echo Park
(213) 222-8203
Th-Mon

A horror themed pizza joint? Oh, can we have a slice? The menu has pizzas named after horror badies; y'know you've got to try the place at least once and get a Freddy Jr. or Hellraiser.
Update: Sadly, this place is shut down temporarily as the owner needs to hire more staff to deal with all the orders.

Mochinut
3064 W 8th St Los Angeles Koreatown
(213) 263-9911
M-Sun

Oh, you've got to be kidding me that sounds too good. A mix of donut and mochi? I want one right now. And it's good the place just had a soft opening in Koreatown. I wouldn't try the hot dog on a stick as for some reason the Korean version adds sugar to the thing. I'm all in for the mochinuts, not sugary dogs.

-The long ridiculous history of getting Foie Gras in LA. Even though my friends don't eat it, it just came up in conversation as I assume many LAliens discuss it for fun.

Bill’s Burgers, What's Going On?

Bill’s Burgers
14742 Oxnard St., Van Nuys
(818) 785-4086

Well, it's rumored on Reddit that Bill, the 93-year-old owner and cook, wants to retire and has the place up for sale. Nothing has been confirmed.

Bill's is still open and we still consider it one of the best burgers in town. Nothing fancy, just a good ol' tasty hamburger. Be careful, as wait times are long, as reported by Reddit.

We love Bill's latest interview with the LA Times back in April

Universal Decided It Needs a Comics Imprint for Some Reason
-Great piece explaining how weird it is Universal is trying to start it's own comics brand, it doesn't make much sense.

The Green Knight: A Fantasy Roleplaying Game

A24‘s is delayed indefinitely, in the mean time, why not play the officially licensed game.
