To accommodate the construction of press risers and pre-show stages along the Oscars red carpet, all lanes of Hollywood Boulevard are closed from Orange Drive to Highland Avenue from 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

Virtue and Vice: Allegory in European Drawing,” an exhibition exploring how European artists from
the 16th to 19th centuries made drawings to criticize bad behavior as well as praise virtuous actions. 

On view at the Getty Center from March 3 through June 7, 2026, the exhibition features 32 drawings that range from straightforward examples of charity, lust and greed, to complex allegories that depict virtue, decadence and friendship. These drawings were meant to be emotionally moving and taught lessons that condemned sinful behavior or praised honorable deeds.
 
First Fridays | 20th Anniversary Season — First Fridays celebrates 20 years as Los Angeles’ premier museum after-hours experience, where exclusive nighttime access to NHM brings music, science and culture together for an engaging evening of conversation and community. Throughout the night, guests are free to explore the Museum at their own pace, exploring galleries and exhibitions with live music, DJs, topical discussions, signature cocktails, pop-up experiences, and much more. Nollywood In Hollywood March 6-7 is an annual showcase of the best three Nigerian films to the
Hollywood film industry, Nigerians in the Diaspora, and cinema audiences in Los Angeles. Arguably Nigeria’s biggest cultural showcase outside Nigeria, it was founded by Nigerian-American filmmaker, Ose Oyamendan and co-presented by O2A Media, Inc. alongside two of the most prestigious institutions in Hollywood, the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California and the American Cinematheque. The initiative includes seminars, training programs, and networking events.
