Quentin Dupieux has another new strange one to see in theaters. It's nothing as it seems as it's more like an anthology movie with no real underlying theme. Just be ready to be weirded out by what might be playing late at night on Adult Swim or you're favorite surreal look on Power Rangers as a wrap-a-round story. Oh, and some gore.
Misleading synopsis:
A group of vigilantes called the "tobacco-forces" is falling apart. To rebuild team spirit, their leader suggests that they meet for a week-long retreat, before returning to save the world.

Enys Men
Starts Wednesday
This looks almost like a perfect doc from the 60 or 70's from England you might have had to watch in school or seen on PBS, but it's really a horror film. The reviews say it could have been a perfect horror film in that genre, but goes a bit too surreal in the end. Still, looks like a folk horror film worth seeing in.
A wildlife volunteer on an uninhabited island off the British coast descends into a terrifying madness that challenges her grip on reality and pushes her into a living nightmare.
