Star Tours: The Adventures Continue

I'm going to start by saying I have never seen Star Tours, which I think is a shame. Since Disneyland and Star Wars are both amazing, and loved by many. The original Star Tours opened January 1987, and closed on September 2010 so that it could renovated.

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue opens in May in 3-D at Disneyland and Disney′s Hollywood Studios (During Star Wars Weekends 2011 in Florida, weekends will run until June 12th.) It will send you to such places as Coruscant in a Starspeeder 3000. Star Tours: The Adventures Continue takes plans between Episode III and Episode IV, and It will feature some of our favorite characters, such as C-3PO, R2-D2, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Admiral Ackbar, and Yoda. Along with a few new character, two droids named AC-38 (Ace) and Aly San San.

I think we are all eagerly awaiting the reopening, I know I am. For some of us it will be a new experience in a classic story we've all grown up with, and others something we have yet to enjoy!

There have many different packages to choose from on their site here, a few of the cheaper ones are a 1 Day 1 Park Ticket for ages 10+ $76.00 or a Southern California Resident 2-Day 1-Park per Day Ticket $99.00

Olvera Street Authentic?

Olvera Street is a fun little tourist trap right outside of Union Station. Like, China Town or Little Tokyo to which it's adjacent the street has it's own nationality coming through and that's Mexican.

Olvera Street is known for cheap knock-offs and luchadore masks. It's a great place to hang with friends for a few hours while checking out downtown. I wouldn't even say they have good Mexican food. It's all kind of fake, like pleather.

Things I Missed: Cave Quest

Sadly, I didn't hear about this delightful play on Buddhism and video games. The premise of the play is a video game designer by the name of Justin wants to make a game about enlightenment. He treks to find the legendary Buddhist Padma. Justin gets stuck in a blizzard and most stay at Padma's side learning more about himself then the game. The play has a underlying story about how a workaholic fast-paced culture doen't allow for easy acces to tranquility.

Via latimes

It opened on February 11, 2010-Closed on March 14, 2010. Sorry, to have missed it. It somewhat reminds me of Neighborhood 3: Requestion of Doom a video game play I saw last year based on zombie shooters. Just that we had two video game plays going on is kind of cool. Cave Quest was held at the place below, Looking at their calendar nothing as interesting is happening, hopefully they get to gaming again.

I"ll Say It Again "X-Men Anime Rules!"

Via topless robot

I know it's only a few seconds , but it looks great. It looks like it's going to be much better than Wolverine and the X-Men. It's gonna be violent and awesome battles.

Two other Marvel propeties became anime's in Japan and they are abysmal. Iron Man and Logan (Wolverine). The Iron Man anime is has poor charcter design and a story about Iron Man fighting stupid looking robots. Did I mention the rip-off of Lois Lane that follows Tony around. Logan... hhh...

Yeah, Yeah I know...
Logan puts Wolverine with no memory, fighting demons and teaming up with a young girl. It's like Inuyasha.

But who cares if we get a awesome X-Men anime. It was worth just to see the team smack down bad guys all cool.  It premieres in April in Japan.

Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Review

Explosion! Nice! Dude! What the!

The opening cinematic had me with just how cool fights could be.

Marvel Vs Capcom 3 comes at you  faster than a adrenaline junkie high on life. No amount of healthy coffee collected by monkeys and having a friendly environmental  seal can stop the adrenaline junkie from seizing life through Captain America.  Cap said, "That's for Civil War!" The character back in forth for a comic book fan is up high. Not as high as that adrenaline junkie riding his cycle through traffic in the wrong direction and being a jerk. Characters know each other when confronted or after they take someone out at the end of the fight. Just like I hope someone takes out that adrenaline junkie douchebag.

If you want to play with other you can head out here this weekend

Sadly, I found out about this DJ visual
event using Marvel Vs Capcom 3, too late via Gamescenes.

Social intake, this is a game you play with others. The words I put at the top weren't only spouted in the game. They were said out loud by my friends in matches. Yes, you can play online. There's just something about beating the crap out of your friends at games that makes life truly wonderful. Hell, we worked together in arcade mode to get to Galactus.

Let your old pal Iron Man from this great Newgrounds short explain why you should get the game

Controls feel the same as Marvel Vs Capcom 2. Easy and fun to pick up and play. The only problem I've encountered and with others who have played is switching characters. That's R1 or L1 back. It's not that easy to pull of sometimes and at the start you can get a little frustrated.

Zero? Where's Megaman!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure everyone will have different takes on whose made it or didn't into the game. You have a wide, wide selection, however.

From a comic book fan stand  point, Marvel did a good job of capturing the voices and looks of the characters. Also as stated early comic book characters now each other and when they meet you"ll laugh a little.Capcom did a good job bringing thier favorites, too. Amaretsu, from Okami, that just fun having a dog attack someone.
Back to my thing on DLC. It's great if it's really coming out because you couldn't stick it in the game, but if not it's unfair to your customers.

Jill and Shuma are out in March and you kind of want them now.

If the new characters are really from fan want, see into the capcom unity forum below, it's not really being run by Capcom, but it's a great way to get some characters you like into DLC.  Costumes ahoy. Maybe 90 style for all my X- Men.

Overwhelmingly this is going to be the top fighter for some time. It's much easier to pick up and play than Street Figher. It has a huge cast that can keep growing because of DLC and and lol ,what did Felica do? Wait, Deadpool's taunts can really hurt you. Oh, man I'm going to go play some more.

Now back to pervy Iron Man.
