A Whole Lot Of Guys Asking Questions About LA Buildings & Infrastructure

Three dudes have been asking some tough questions about some of LA most iconic places and straight up projects that should have been finished years ago.

The Neglected Crown Jewel of LAX by Dave Schilling, over at L.A. Material, you need a free subscription, is all about LAX’s Theme Building. The 1960's futuristic building once housed a restaurant that seemed so cool it should have never died. Sadly, it did and so has basically this icon of entering LA. Find out what happened to it and if anything might happen in the future.

Staying with LAX you'll want to read The Hollywood Reporter's The YouTuber Who Exposed the LAX People Mover Fiasco and possibly watch the Nick Andert's video with some alleged views that the People Mover has long been a farce. It's not great that it was supposed to open 3 years ago and for almost 2 billion dollars and still isn't finessed today.

Lastly, listen to IndieWire’s Screen Talk. The latest episode has the Save Your Cinema campaign leader Ben Steinberg in to discuss all his recent wins and the Cinerama Dome coming back.
