Bill Elwell is off making burgers in another plane of existence. He passed from this mortal coil on July 21st at 98. And, damn did he make a good cheeseburger. His place in Van Nuys had him slinging burgers like SpongeBob for sixty years. And a wonderful phrase of “You can’t have it your way, this is not Burger King.”
Bill's is still around and we doubt the taste will ever be as good, but you can visit for a burger and remembering the guy. Or read more about him below; 6 ex-wives?
