At a remote lake house, a filmmaker named Allison (Aubrey Plaza) arrives to play house guest to a troubled couple (Christopher Abbott and Sarah Gadon), who have eschewed their life in the city after inheriting a family retreat. Battling writer’s block, Allison sparks a calculated game of desire and jealousy in pursuit of a new work that blurs the boundaries of autobiography and invention.

The drive-in screening of The Croods: A New Age will be shown on a giant LED screen, visible by day and night. Before the film begins, guests will be treated to an exclusive pre-show, featuring DreamWorks Animation content and a snack box, courtesy of Universal CityWalk. Guests will also have the flexibility to leave their cars and visit Universal CityWalk to purchase additional food and beverages.

Prior to the screening, guests will be invited to preview the world of The Croods, with an immersive experience that features recreations of the film’s most exciting locations and characters, including the elaborate Treehouse, the Monkey Lair, the Thunder Sisters and so much more. The experience offers guests multiple interactive opportunities for fantastic photo ops, all without leaving the security of their cars.

Death of a Telemarketer centers on smooth-talking, ace salesman Kasey (Lamorne Morris), whose shifty ways have impacted his relationship with his girlfriend, Christine (Alisha Wainwright). To prove his sincerity, Kasey buys a ring for Christine and plans to propose over a fancy dinner, but first has to win a Hunger Games-style sales commission contest to cover the ring's cost. However, Kasey loses by a slim margin to newbie employee, Barry (Woody McClain).

Your journey begins on the  3rd floor of Westfield Century City’s parking structure (off of Avenue of the Stars), you’ll enter 50,000 square feet of over 18 unique and vibrant exhibits that lead you to the picturesque rooftop. HAPPY PLACE – THE DRIVE THRU was designed to embrace and accentuate experiencing the event from the safety and comfort of your own vehicle.

At HAPPY PLACE – THE DRIVE THRU, passengers are encouraged to take photos. Additionally, key locations will utilize QR technology to take photos and/or video of your entire car! One person per vehicle will be asked to register upon entry and assigned a QR code. This code will unlock experiences inside THE DRIVE THRU including the ability for our staff to capture memories and email them directly to you!

PMX is all online this year instead of being in a small hotel around town. The small anime community get together keeps going by having panels and chat online this year.

Check out the Artist's Market online, which sadly has been the easiest to view from all the other anime and general conventions we've posted during Covid. We mean, why couldn't AX or Comic-Con set this up? Woah, we have to give credit to PMX for just setting up a competent artist page. A feat, no other con did correctly this year.
