Anime Hype: There Were Scallops? Gashapon Places, Shop Little Tokyo & Suicide Squad ISEKAI

 

Japan Up! Magazine latest's issue has the funniest promotional article on Anime Expo Chibi about Japanese scallops being used in the food section of the event. The owner of the magazine Weekly LALALA INC made a deal with JETRO, a Japanese trade organization, to be in charge of the food section for the convention. So, the article is really just an ad for scallops and how they were used, not that much about the event itself.

I literally skipped past it while reading, because I thought it was an ad.
