Downtown Santa Monica is all dressed up for the holiday season! Join us for the Tree Lighting Ceremony, where Santa himself will light up our official holiday tree on Third Street Promenade. We'll also have live entertainment from Westside Ballet, Samohi Choirs, Lincoln Middle School's Madrigals, and the SMC Emeritus Concert Band.

LIGHTSCAPE presented by U.S. Bank”returns to the 127-acre Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden for its third year selected nights from November 17, 2023 through January 2, 2024.  Reimagined brighter and bolder for 2023, this after-dark, illuminated trail spans one mile and features spectacular sights with eye-catching artistic installations that come alive at night with color, imagination, and sound. Lightscape is a family-friendly walking event that celebrates the sparkle of the holiday season and helps commemorate the Arboretum’s 75th anniversary.

The first ever Riso Art & Zine Fest is happening at Gallery Nucleus! On Saturday November 18th from 11 AM - 5 PM, over 25 amazing Risograph artists and printers will be selling their prints, zines, and other special goods directly to the public. Each hour there will be a raffle prize featuring prints and merchandise from vendors, and even a live Risograph machine demonstration! If you or anyone you know has any interest in learning more about Riso and the amazing artwork it can produce, don't miss this one day event!

Open to the public and free of charge, Questions for Living in the World is set to debut on Saturday, November 18th from 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm in CHG’s Main Gallery, alongside a solo show by Josie Morway, titled Course of Empire, in Gallery 2. Both shows will be on view through December 23rd.
