On a short list of the greatest screen musicals ever made, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN began with legendary MGM producer Arthur Freed giving screenwriters Betty Comden and Adolph Green a stack of songs he'd written early in his career (with partner Nacio Herb Brown) - including "Broadway Melody," "You Are My Lucky Star" and the title song - with the simple request to weave a story around the numbers.

A ribbon cutting by special guests and opening ceremony will kick off the day at 10am, with puppet shows on the hour beginning at 11am. The six puppet shows throughout the day will celebrate and explore the six decades that the Bob Baker Marionette Theater has been delighting kids of all ages. Whether a ravioli, a pierogi or a traditional xiaolongbao, dumplings are a religious experience for foodies.
